JSB Streaming presents a wide selection of videos from the J.S. Bach Foundation’s repertoire of cantata performances. New content is continually being uploaded – making a regular visit to our site worth your while.
Streaming has a number of advantages; here we would like to emphasize just two of them. Firstly, you can immediately begin playing the video without first having to download a large file – no waiting is required to enjoy a cantata. Secondly, no particular knowledge or equipment is necessary. You don’t need to download special software to watch a video. The recording is broadcast directly in your browser, and just one click is all it takes to begin the Bach experience.
Our streaming service is available as a 24-hour, monthly or annual subscription. Already CHF 1.00 is enough to give you access to all videos (incl. the introductory and reflection lectures). Our flexible service allows you to choose the best subscription for your needs and interests – and ensures that you get top value. More information on our prices is available here.
So that you quickly find the desired cantata: You can use the text search tool to start a general search.
Is browsing your pleasure? No problem at all: You can sort and filter our offerings – for example, according to BWV, cantata title or soloist.
For a first impression: Every video has a trailer for you to watch in advance.
Haven’t made a decision (yet)? Simply “write” the title of the desired cantata on the virtual wish list. You can come back to your favourites any time.
You can register to receive a user account with information on your subscriptions and purchased articles. Your billing information is also stored, making future orders quick and easy.

The streaming content of the J. S. Bach Foundation is compatible with all modern PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones released in the last three years. To enjoy smooth reproduction, you will need an internet connection with a stable data transfer rate of approx. 6 Mbit/s (6000 KBit/s).
